Message-ID: Hi, The table is booked for this evening at 7 pm for the 4d Pizza night. We have over 10 people down to come along so should be a good night. See you there .. J NB Please note that there may be some disruption to the tube after 6 pm so we are making the following arrangements: Transport CAB sharing to North London main line stations - eg Kings cross, Baker Street etc Getting home - we will be arranging Cab sharing for those travelling to main line stations on arrival at Pizza express. The plan is to order Cabs for 9 pm (after meal) and 9.30 /10.00 pm. (after pub) depending on who needs to get where- so we have transport arranged back to your mainline stations. If you normally travel across London by tube its advised to get to Victoria before 6 pm The following lines would be effected most -Victoria, Circle and Central lines. Its probably best we plan to leave earlier than usual drop me an e-mail if you require any more info john at sci-do.co.uk -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... There is a dialog with four variables. Two lots of description and qty. The description variables have Choice Lists. The idea is that you choose the description and then tab to enter the qty, then choose another description and tab again to enter the other qty. All fairly basic stuff. But on the PC the tabbing after choosing an item from the choice list does not work. It doesn't matter whether I double-click or click OK, when the Choice List box has disappeared there is no selected box or cursor and ergo I can't tab into the qty box. I have tried redrawing the form. Makes no difference. I have also added a new variable and the behaviour is the same. Once more it all works well on my Mac and I am presuming that this is a new behaviour for the PC in 2004. If I simply take one of the downloaded images and copy it over to the pc, it won't open - shows up as a broken picture. The files seem to be corrupted when viewed on anything but a Mac. Even if I transfer the program to the pc and download them there, they still won't open. I have had this problem quite a bit with images looking fine on the mac, but not appearing on the web. The only way I have found to fix it is to open the image in Photoshop and create a fresh document using Save As. I'm sure this doesn't help you as you probably want to make it automatic. Or you could try some of the graphic convertors out there? Then you could open them in 4d via Launch External Process. cheers Lisa -- Lisa Pollard Software Developer Please note our new contact details: Another Dimension Ltd Needham Hall Barns Needham Street Gazeley, Newmarket Suffolk. Just a hunch - could this have something to do with the Mac OS resource fork? Obviously the PC doesn't have this. I use GraphicConverter for preparing images for the web and always save them using a "Save for Web" option which strips away the resource fork as it usually bloats the file unnecessarily. Perhaps you could try stripping the resource fork (if it exists) using ResEdit are some other means such as I've suggested above?
